Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. (CRA) is seeking FEMA category mid-level Staff Archaeologists and Architectural Historians with Gulf Coast experience.  Successful candidates are preferably those who are FEMA badged and have disaster experience.  Successful candidates must have five years of subject matter (archaeology and architectural history) experience or more. The candidates will be expected to manage and direct FEMA related historic preservation activities following Hurricane Harveys aftermath in South Texas. We are looking for people who are detail oriented, well-organized, an excellent verbal and written communicator, comfortable with complex survey logistics, and technologically proficient with experience working with databases.  Experience navigating and collecting geospatial data using handheld GPS units is expected. Working knowledge of GIS applications is preferable.   The candidates should expect prolonged stays away from the office for travel throughout the region for fieldwork. It is imperative that the candidate be able to work 8 to 10 hour days (or longer if necessary) in a variety of conditions. Stooping, bending and lifting are essential functions of this position.
