Do you want hands-on historic preservation experience, as well as the opportunity to help preserve a local historic structure for the benefit of your own community? Join HistoriCorps on our project to preserve the Ryan Trail Cabins, located in, and in partnership with, Allegany State park.

Students can earn the Certificate of Achievement in Heritage Conservation and Construction through participating on this project for one or more sessions.

Volunteering on HistoriCorps projects is free; we provide all meals, tools, training, and equipment. Volunteers only provide their transportation to the project site, sleeping bag and pad, work clothes, and other personal items.
