This position is responsible for the cataloging of archaeological collections into the Ohio History Connections online collections catalog. Components of this job include: perform cataloging, data entry and condition reporting on collections; assist in preparing and maintaining object records and associated documentation; photograph or scan artifacts and documents; produce barcodes and attach tags or labels to collections; assist with the storage and rehousing of various collections materials; digitize archival documents, photographs and any supplementary material; and insure artifacts are handled, documented, tracked and stored according to museum standards.

Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, although a Masters degree is preferred. Strong candidates will be knowledgeable about the Hopewell Culture. Must have demonstrated knowledge of archaeological cataloging and have excellent writing skills.†
