Staub Window Restorations, LLC.

Staub Window Restorations was started by Sam Staub in 2014. Samís first company, Sam Staub Enterprises, has been providing quality renovation, historical restoration, and remodeling services for nearly 30 years to residential and commercial clients throughout Southeastern Louisiana. Staub Window Restorations became a separate company from SSE in 2014. SWR deals mainly with small-scale architectural restoration and preservation: windows, doors, shutters, floors, and more. SWR also custom builds cypress sashes and entire window units. Staub Window Restorations is committed to providing quality restoration in accordance with the Secretary of Interiorís Standards for Rehabilitation.

Staub Window Restorations is looking for an experienced carpenter.

Responsilbilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing the crew on a daily basis
Keeping track of project progress
Communicating with other managers about projects
Working independently in the shop and on-site
Safely using machinery
Monitoring crew members using machinery
Building windows (milling lumber and assembling)

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of and experience milling and assembling cypress window sashes and window accessories (sills, aprons, jambs)
Knowledge of New Orleans architecture
Knowledge of and experience with historic preservation and restoration practices - specifically with architectural features such as windows, doors, shutters, floors, etc.. †
Managerial Experience

Salary is hourly based and commensurate with experience.†
