HistoriCorps partners with federal, state and local land management agencies to provide educational and outdoor opportunities, fostering in our participants a lifelong commitment to the stewardship of our historic resources and public lands. From our Denver, CO headquarters, we coordinate and instruct projects on public lands throughout the United States.

The Volunteer and Communications Managers overarching objective is to recruit, register, manage, and cultivate on-going relationships with project participants (volunteers, veterans, students and youth) and community partners, and to expand HistoriCorps public and online presence through effective marketing, communications and public relations. This individual will set and guide the strategy for all external messaging while ensuring our recruitment and volunteer management needs are met in the field. This individual will engage with our many partners, network, and the general public on a regular basis to promote HistoriCorps mission and volunteer/educational opportunities.
