Easement Inspection Intern
Internship Opportunity
Denver, CO
$1800 stipend

 Historic Denver now holds 61 easements on buildings in and around Denver. We are looking for a summer intern to guide the biannual inspection process, including: notifying the property owners of our upcoming visits, photographing and inspecting the exterior of the building using a checklist, reviewing the findings with the Director of Preservation Programs, sending a follow-up letter to the owners notifying them of any maintenance issues, and archiving the photographs and findings.  


Graduate degree or current pursuit of a graduate degree in Historic Preservation, 

Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field with relevant 

undergraduate degree 

Knowledge of historic structures and Secretary of the Interior Standards 

Ability to travel independently to locations within and near the City of Denver 


This internship will last six to eight weeks, and offers a $1800 stipend for the duration of the project. The projected start date is July 14th.
