Pasadena Heritage is proud to once again participate in the Getty Foundations Multicultural Undergraduate Intern program. This position is funded by a grant from the Getty Foundation, which is intended for members of groups underrepresented in the professions related to the visual arts. 

Applicants must be of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander descent, and must meet the following additional criteria: (1) a currently enrolled undergraduate student who has completed at least one semester of college by June 2013 (those who will complete their degree by September 1, 2013 also qualify); (2) must be a resident or attend college in Los Angeles County; (3) be a United States citizen or permanent resident.

Pasadena Heritage is currently seeking applicants for an Education Intern, who will assist with the planning, research, and implementation of the organizations educational programming, including our annual Craftsman Weekend. Projects include assisting the Education Director with the research of individual houses and historic neighborhoods, writing detailed histories and architectural descriptions for use by docents, compiling information for bus and walking tours, and assisting with the logistical details of all of the educational programs.  The intern will also assist with Pasadena Heritages summer programming and with updating the organizations architectural files. Excellent organization and communication skills are a must. This is a full-time, ten-week position from June August, 2013 with a stipend of $3,500.
